On August 23rd, the San Antonio Business Journal hosted the Women’s Leadership Awards where 15 amazing women were honored for the leadership roles they play within their organizations. Angel Crockett, CEO of Inflow, was one of those women honored.
The Women’s Leadership Awards is an event designed to celebrate the community of women and their achievements made within the professional world. It recognizes the accomplishments made, both personally and professionally, as these women lead their organizations by example.
Professional and personal accomplishments were deciding factors for selecting the honorees. Angel Crockett founded Inflow in 2013 where she works to build an employee-centric culture and bring more government contracts to San Antonio, increasing job opportunities in the area.
Additionally, Mrs. Crockett gives back to the community through her work and donations to Operation Homefront, Wounded Warrior, the Fisher House, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and more. She lives the value of Balance.
When asked how she finds work-life balance, Mrs. Crockett said this: “Select the things in life that matter most and allocate your time there. Eliminate the distractions.”
Not only does Mrs. Crockett take time to give back, but she also gives time to her employees to give back too, giving each employee 16 hours of paid volunteer time off to support charities of their choice.
Congratulations to Angel Crockett and the other honorees for their work, commitment, and passion to showing women the sky’s the limit.
